Duke of Edinburgh Award
The Springbank Community Association is proud to be a Duke of Edinburgh Award Center. Young adults ages 14-24 are welcome to join in this ambitious and self-directed program focused on personal growth and development.
The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is the world’s leading youth achievement Award operating in over a 130 different countries and territories. It recognizes that not all learning happens in the classroom and encourages young people to take on new challenges. The Award allows young people to determine what they are passionate about, regardless of their background, culture or access to resources. By creating opportunities for young people to develop skills, get physically active, give service and experience adventure, the Award can play a critical role in their development.​
